The Client KeHE is one of the country's leading distributors of specialty, natural, and organic foods—stocking independent grocers with the brands their customers actually want. The Exclusive Brands division develops proprietary food labels including CADIA, Made With, and Wild Oats, designed to hold their own against the best in the natural foods space.
The Challenge The Exclusive Brands team needed a designer who could keep up: someone who could move fluidly across multiple brand identities at once, maintain visual consistency from packaging to trade show booth, and deliver retail-ready work on real-world timelines.
The Approach The work ranged from packaging and point-of-sale to shelf blades, digital ads, trade show graphics, and two seasonal catalogs per brand each year. My favorite part of the work were the seasonal in-store campaigns—holiday, summer, back-to-school—where I got to develop cohesive visual systems that stretched across multiple formats and told a story at shelf level. That kind of work requires both design chops and a genuine understanding of how retail environments actually function.
The Result I helped shape the visual identity of KeHE's Exclusive Brands portfolio supporting independent grocery locations nationwide, achieving a sharp, consistent, and shelf-ready image across every customer touchpoint, season after season.
